MADE IN BANGKOK
Directed by Flavio FLORENCIO
Morgana is a Mexican transgender opera singer with a relentless determination to assert her identity, despite having to fight against social stigma and family prejudice. Her dream is to have gender-reassignment surgery. Her only chance to make this happen is by winning the MISS INTERNATIONAL QUEEN beauty pageant at the world famous Tiffany’s Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand. This touching documentary paints an intimate portrait of what it takes to construct a long-dreamt-of identity.
